Maintenance Worker

This is a seasonal Maintenance Worker position at James A. Garfield National Historic Site, an eight-acre site in Mentor, Lake County, Ohio (about 25 miles east of Cleveland). The incumbent will perform a variety of tasks independently and with direct supervision to maintain and improve this site. These duties include, but are not limited to:
mowing grass; custodial duties; roofing; carpentry; masonry; painting; assisting with event set-up and tear-down; operating motorized equipment; and others as needed/assigned. Must be able to operate light motor vehicles, trailers, and power tools. AREA INFORMATION:
Mentor is a community of approximately 53,000 residents located in Lake County, Ohio, in the state's northeastern corner. Mentor is approximately 25 miles east of downtown Cleveland. To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the job-related factors. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
