Alliance Scientific Solutions is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative for a long standing local manufacturer. Salary $16/hr. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY PLEASE - client is not offering relocation


Job Description:

Provide exceptional customer service to assigned customers and accounts. Manage accounts in terms of order processing, order follow up, pricing integrity, on-time deliveries, and complete order fulfillment.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Manage accounts in terms of order processing, order follow up, pricing integrity, on-time deliveries, and complete order fulfillment.

Implement account service strategies.

Principal liaison with marketing and sales for assigned customers.

Implementation of marketing programs for assigned accounts.

Support all aspects of service to the customer including, but not limited to:
price quotes and quote follow-up.

Initiate and implement initiatives which improve customer service and responsiveness.

Coordinate with Logistics and Operations on capacity planning and scheduling.

Champion customer needs, proactively follow up on customer inquiries, and be the customer's advocate by driving the voice of the customer (VOC) into the organization

Provide responsive order management support including order entry, or expediting and shipment information to customers.

Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives.

Attend technical training seminars.

Back-up team-members when workload makes this necessary.

Partner with Sales team to assist in achieving sales goals.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree a plus.

3 - 5 years Customer Service or related experience a plus.

Strong written, verbal and telephone skills.

Strong data entry and organizational skills. Detailed oriented with good follow-up skills.

Able to effectively manage many priorities and issues.

Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and function specific software.

Must be willing and able to work either 8-5PM or 9-6PM EST and occasionally 11-8PM EST as business needs dictate.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
