Cardinal Community Credit Union is expanding and seeking a Senior Consumer Loan Officer with at least 5 years experience in consumer underwriting.
Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and processing applications for consumer, home improvement, credit card. Meets with applicants to explain credit policies and to obtain additional loan information and documentation. Assembles loan applications for loans that meet initial lending criteria and are within approved lending limits. Presents loan requests above lending limit for approval as per loan policy. Types and handles miscellaneous paperwork including denial letters, CPI insurance, Cr. Life, Dis. insurance and maintains files. Ensures that members and prospective members are promptly and professionally served. Provides general Credit Union information and actively participates in Cardinal's Superior Sales & Service Program. Reviews loans that exceed regular Loan Officer limits. Assists other lending personnel as necessary.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
