Job Posting for Operations Manager;
Operations Manager is required to support the growth of a Mentor, OH packaging company. The person selected for this position must have an entrepreneurial spirit and must have experience with all Operational functions, as well as direct contact with customers. At least 5 years' experience in a similar role is required. The Operations Manager will be responsible for; Safety, Production, Line set-up, Warehouse, Inventory, Continuous Improvement, and Line Maintenance. Leadership, Production/Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, and good communication skills are critical to the success of the position. No relocation assistance will be provided for this position.
Manages a safe work environment by advocating safety training, accident preparedness, and compliance with Company, OSHA, and other standards and regulations. Lead the production team in safe and efficient operation of all equipment, along with ensuring the security of the product and building.
Ensure production performance KPI's are tracked and overall goals are set, maintained daily, and continuously improved. KPIs include; operating efficiencies, financial performance, safety, labor utilization, product quality, and adherence to operating procedures.
Maintain a high level of Quality, Customer Service, and regulatory compliance throughout the production process.
Maintain an accurate inventory and warehouse. Utilize WMS system to receive, ship, and requisition materials for the production process.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with your peers, team, and senior managers in order to communicate effectively, collaborate across departments, and strategically implement solutions.
Inspire your team with challenging assignments and coaching to facilitate individual growth and development; foster a collaborative environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and relate them to others.
Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict; ability to provide feedback and develop other leaders.
Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel along with WMS experience.
Previous experience managing diverse teams of 100+ Associates.
Available to support multiple shifts as required.
Bi-lingual preferred
Must have a 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
Must be able to be considered for future promotional opportunities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
