JOB DESCRIPTION
GLOBE BENCH INSPECTOR
Reports To: Production Manager / Inspection Group Leader
Wage Status: Hourly $10-11
General Duties:
Inspect Globe input and output shafts for op 10 and final operations.
Specific Duties/
Responsibilities:
Read and understand documentation, such as Quality Alerts, inspection forms, control plans, and work instructions. Drawing interpretation is a plus.
Accurately fill out forms and reports.
Instruct and assist other workers as necessary.
Work overtime as required, including possible Saturdays or Sundays.
Other duties as required.
Physical Requirements:
Liftingand moving containers of in-process parts.Approximate weight range 10-30 lb.
Hand-eye coordinationand finger dexterity to perform inspection functions, which may be repetitious.
Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in a noisy environment.
Will have contact with Oils/Solvents.
Some Oil/Solvent misting will be present.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
