We are actively seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to support CNC Machining processes. The Process Engineer-CNC assists all plant operations related to controlling CNC processes to levels that meet expectations related to quality, cost, control, and consistency. Create, maintain, and evaluate process control systems and procedures Write, develop, validate, and debug CNC programs and provide supporting documentation for 3-5 axis CNC mills Utilize adaptive programming techniques to support the manufacturing ease Implement programming best practices to support common systems and platforms Implement, support, and provide continuous improvement of lean and agile material removal through effective programming and up-to-date tooling specifications. Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and operators to meet customer and shop floor needs Troubleshoot production activities with variation and out of control parameters Set up projects, collect and input data, perform statistical analysis as the measure for significance Interface with engineering, quality and manufacturing to determine root cause for process and part issues Identify opportunities for process improvements resulting in cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased efficiency Perform day-to-day monitoring of department specific process outputs Complete projects in a timely manner with accuracy using sound scientific methodology, with attention to detail and good judgement Effectively communicate and work with manufacturing, quality, and engineering Provide input and analysis for procedural changes to include work instructions and manuals Other related duties as assigned Knowledge, skills, and abilities Ability to program in Mastercam Knowledge and ability to perform statistical analysis and technical report preparation Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral at all levels Ability to define, plan, and complete projects with accuracy and on time Ability to prepare written reports and make presentations Ability to apply engineering and scientific principles and methodology toward problem identification and resolution Strong understanding of GD&T Ability to balloon prints is preferred, but not required Strong understanding of Six Sigma methodology is preferred Ability and willingness to work with individuals with diverse expertise and backgrounds Knowledge of investment casting is preferred Compensation for this role is based on ability and years of experience Compensation details:
