50 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Part-Time Outpatient Secretary - Mentor Office Afternoon/Evening The Outpatient Secretary must convey a caring, positive attitude toward substance use disorder persons and their families, have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff and referral sources.
Is responsible for answering agency phone calls in responsible, professional manner and refer to appropriate agency and/or community resource.
Relates and works well with clients, guests, and staff in a cordial, helpful, professional manner.
Maintains up-to-date appointment calendar, and counselor schedules.
Types correspondence and performs other clerical duties.
Maintains adequate supply of forms, intake packets and office supplies; follows procedures to request supplies and assures office maintenance.
Maintains security and organization of client database and conducts quality assurance procedures.
Opens and closes office or assures procedures are followed.
Provides consistent demonstration of compliance with code of ethics, client rights, client confidentiality, and grievance procedures.
Completes cash reports on a daily basis.
Maintains and acquires UCI numbers for clients via appropriate county ADAMHS Board.
Assist with Drug Free Safety Program including drug screen procedures.
Supports prevention and clinical staff with clerical and other duties.
Balance and reports petty cash monthly, is designated safety officer for location and thus conducts monthly safety drills, testing of panic buttons and quarterly safety checklist.
Provides onsite, day to day office management.
Minimum high school graduate or equivalent required.
Associate degree preferred.
Must be able to type, operate basic office equipment, and be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Required to be able to organize and prioritize complex setting of clinical and clerical responsibilities.
Must be bondable.
Minimum two years personal program of recovery if applicable.
Background Check and Alcohol and Drug Screen required.
Pay:
Starting at $13.
50/hour
