Responsibilities:
-Case intake specialist for busy medical malpractice law firm.
- Collect and verify client information, including medical history - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and address client inquiries or concerns -Data entry and correspondence (email, professional letters, text) - Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff - Ensure accurate and timely data entry of patient information into legal management system (Smokeball, Microsoft office) -Organizational skills for numerous emails and tracking system for follow up - Collaborate with other law firms to coordinate referral services
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in healthcare preferred, but not required.
- Proven experience in a similar role - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures - Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
