Position Summary The National Contracts Manager is responsible managing bids, pricing and programs specific to GI Endoscopy contracts and the implementation of those GPO or IDN agreements with the GI Endoscopy sales teams to drive revenue and profitability for all STERIS GI product lines.The GI Endoscopy Contracts Manager is responsible managing bids, pricing and programs specific to GI Endoscopy contracts and the implementation of those GPO or IDN agreements with the GI Endoscopy sales teams to drive revenue and profitability for all STERIS GI product lines. Duties Contract Management (50%) Manage all aspects of US-based STERIS Endoscopy IDN and local agreements from inception through termination or renewal with a focus on contracts outside of the scope of GPO and top 30 IDNs. Responsible for reviewing, detailing and the preparation of assigned contracts/bids for STERIS Endoscopy. Review and approve contracts for acceptability to STERIS, including pricing; delivery; terms; conditions; taxes; federal, state and local laws; STERIS's Policies and Procedures and resolves discrepancies. Evaluate assigned bid requests for adequate information. Obtain added details from sales people, Customer, and other departments as required and process within established time-frame. Ensure Contract and local pricing is aligned with correct price lists and resolve Customer pricing issues. Interface with various departments within STERIS to ensure completion of contract/bid to meet customers due date. Departments include, but are not limited to, Product Managers, Operations, Credit and Collection, Corporate, Manufacturing, Sales, Accounting, Engineering, Legal etc. Review contracts/bids for application of pre-negotiated pricing policies Review Contract Terms and Conditions taking exceptions to ensure corporate objectives are maintained. Complete requestors form of proposal with all appropriate information, secure proper signatures and transmit to the customer. Maintain current and historical records regarding contracts, pricing, costs, technical data, bids, etc. Interface directly with the customer in support of STERIS's sales effort, when required. Duties - cont'd Maintain a tracking system of all contract and bid activity, to include award results. Manage documents within a shared drive to ensure visibility. Complete understanding of Contracts for US healthcare Customers Work with Corporate Accounts to maintain pricing integrity, champion price increases, and measure contract performance. Corporate Accounts & Sales Support (30%) Conduct initial contract discussions and business reviews with Customers outside of the top 30 IDNs Provide purchase and pricing analysis to Regional Managers and Product Specialists Host planning meetings with Sales Team to discuss approach to new contracts and business reviews Support implementation and management of pricing and pricing changes Business Unit Support (20%) Provide specialized analysis for trends within STERIS Endoscopy business Work with integration teams to align Customers and pricing Required Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business or Related Field Miminum of 5 years in Customer facing position 3
years experience in contract management desired 2
years working in Customer facing roles within healthcare environment Knowledge of the GI Endoscopy market a plus Knowledge of contract design Experience managing price Experience using Excel, COGNOS or other analytical software Previous Sales experience desired
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
ProcurementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
