Responsible for origination of first mortgage loans as well as second mortgage/Heloc's. Conducts initial pre-qualification interviews and prepares complete loan application packages and necessary documentation. Conveys policies for extension of credit in accordance with Credit Union and secondary investor guidelines. Oversees the extension of credit for home loans and related U/W, processing, closing, renewing, shipping, and funding functions. Responsible for all mortgage loan closing activities. Prepares and reviews closing documents and reports, schedules closing appointments with title companies, and performs final preparation and audit of all documents needed for closing. Performs mortgage loan support services including assisting members with questions, processing payments and adjustments, and completing basic accounting and clerical duties. Obtains proof of insurance and employment verification as required on member loans. Provides general Credit Union information and assists Loan personnel as necessary. Actively participates in Cardinal's Superior Sales & Service Program.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
